Dreams from the edges of Europe
5 young presenters from the edges of Europe will share with you small musical treasures in Orff-Schulwerk pedagogy from their countries as well as cultural interweaving that arise as they interact with each other and with you. The course material can be used for elementary and kindergarten as well as for personal development.

The workshop is in two parts (2x90Min):
„To the whistle of the wind“ – a trip in our forests
Classical music for early childhood education with music and dance.
“Windows to far away neighbours” – a trip in our rooms
Mediterenean – Anatolian microtonal music and intercultural relations in elemental music and movement education.

Träume aus entfernten Regionen Europas

5 junge Musik-und Tanzpädagog:innen aus Finnland, Griechenland und der Türkei stellen kleine und feine musikalisch-tänzerische Schätze im Sinne des Orff-Schulwerks vor. Sie erarbeiten mit den Teilnehmer:innen  nicht nur Materialien aus ihren Ländern, sondern verweben miteinander auch Ideen, die in der intensiven Vorbereitung entstanden sind und die sich spontan im Kurs entwickeln werden. Das Kursmaterial kann im Kindergarten, in der Musik- und Grundschule genauso eingesetzt werden, wie für die eigene persönliche Entwicklung.

 Das Online-Seminar ist inhaltlich in zwei Teile zu je ca. 90 Min aufgeteilt:

„Zum Gesang des Windes“ – ein Erlebnisspaziergang durch unsere Wälder

Klassische Musik inspiriert Kinder in Kindergarten, Musik- und Grundschule zum aktiven Musizieren und Tanzen.

„Fenster zu weit entfernten Nachbarn“ – auf der spannenden Begegnungsreise nach Griechenland und in die Türkei entdecken wir gleichzeitig unsere eigenen Räume zu Hause aus ganz ungewohnten Perspektiven. Mediterran-anatolische und microtonale Musik regen zu elementaren Musik- und Tanzerlebnissen an.

PRESENTERS / REFERENT*INNEN Elin Bergdal, Sonia Kouma, Ilkay Nisanci, Elina Simes, Ezgi Tatar

Elin Bergdal is from Finland. She got her master’s degree in Music education 2018 from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. Elin has participated in many Orff courses in Finland and was a mentee in the European mentorship programme 2019. Elin works as an elementary school music teacher in Finland, teaching children in the ages between 10-16. She is a board member in the Finnish Orff Association JaSeSoi ry.

Elin Bergdal kommt aus Finnland. Sie hat einen Master in Musik; studierte Musikpädagogik an der Sibelius-Akademie in Helsinki; hat an vielen Orff-Kursen in Finnland teilgenommen; war Grundschulmusiklehrerin in Schweden und unterrichtet jetzt wieder in Finnland. Elin ist Vorstandsmitglied der JaSeSoi Orff Gesellschaft Finnland.

Sonia Kouma works as a music educator for preschool to primary school aged children in Athens as well as in pre-professional conservatories for classical instrumental education and chamber music. She studied Archaeology and History of Arts in the University of Athens; has a diploma in flute, many years of dance training and completed the Greek Orff levels course. She participated in the Special Course/Orff Institute 2018-2019. She performs regularly as the musician of playback theater group “Playback Ground”.

Sonia Kouma kommt aus Griechenland und arbeitet als Musikpädagogin für Kinder im Vorschul- bis Grundschulalter in Athen sowie in einer pre-professionellen Konservatorien für die klassische Instrumentalausbildung. Sie studierte Archäologie und Kunstgeschichte an der Universität von Athen; hat ein Diplom in Flöte, langjährige Tanztraining und absolvierte den griechischen Orff-Levels Kursen. Sie nahm am Special Course / Orff-Institut 2018-2019 teil.

Ilkay Nisanci is from Turkey. He studied music education at Selçuk University; completed the Turkish Orff Levels training as well as the professional development course for teaching teachers and participated in the Special Course/Orff Institute 2018-2019. He gives seminars in Turkey for the Anatolia Orff Project and is a lecturer for Orff Schulwerk courses in the Department of Preschool Education at the Istanbul Culture. Ilkay performs professionally as a percussionist and drummer.

Ilkay Nisanci kommt aus der Türkei. Er studierte Musikpädagogik an der Selçuk Universität; absolvierte die türkische Orff-Level-Ausbildung sowie den Fortbildungskurs für Training Teachers und nahm am Special Course/ Orff-Institut 2018-2019 teil. Er gibt Seminare in der Türkei für das Anatolia Orff Project und hat einen Lehrauftrag für Orff Schulwerk in der Abteilung für Früherziehung der Istanbuler Kultur Universität. Ilkay tritt professionell als Schlagzeuger auf.

Elina Simes is from Finland. She has a BA in early childhood music education and arts integration from the Metropolia University in Helsinki and has completed the Finnish Orff Level courses. She has worked as a music educator teaching piano students and music play school groups. She is a board member in the Association for Early Childhood Music Educators in Finland and in the JaSeSoi Orff Association of Finland.

Elina Simes kommt aus Finnland. Sie hat einen BA in musikalischer Früherziehung und Kunstintegration von der Metropolia University in Helsinki und hat die finnischen Orff Level Kursen abgeschlossen. Sie arbeitet als Musikpädagogin und unterrichtet Klavierschüler und Musikspiel-Schulgruppen. Sie ist Vorstandsmitglied der Vereinigung für Musikpädagogen im frühen Kindesalter in Finnland als auch in der JaSeSoi Orff Gesellschaft Finnland.

Ezgi Tatar is from Turkey. She studied Music Education at the Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey; completed the Level courses of the Turkish Orff Association as well as the professional development course for teaching teachers. She participated in the Special Course at the Orff Institute 2016-2017. She teaches children and adults in her own music school and gives professional development seminars for the Guher&Suher Pekinel Anatolia Orff Project.

Ezgi Tatar kommt aus der Türkei. Dort studierte Musikpädagogik an der Dokuz Eylul Universität; absolvierte die Levelkurse des türkischen Orff-Gesellschaft sowie den Fortbildungskurs für Training Teachers. Sie nahm am Special Course am Orff-Institut 2016-2017 teil. Ezgi unterrichtet Kinder und Erwachsene in ihrer eigenen Musikschule und gibt Fortbildungsseminare für das Anatolia Orff Project.
